The Equine Discovery Center debuted our new mobile classroom at Town Day in Stoneham, MA on September 7th. We were sponsored by the National Coalition for Educational and Cultural Programs (NCECP), an organization whose mission is to improve the quality of care for all children via affordable educational and cultural programs to those who help shape their lives: teachers, communities and families.
The weather was beautiful and we had many visitors who kept us on our toes as they asked questions about our animal ambassadors and attended the many “micro lessons” taught by director, Tricia Bridgeo. We had a blast and couldn’t have asked for a better kick-off for the EDC’s mobile classroom.
